Brooke Sharrard named varsity competitive cheer coach

Kassidy Krist named Flint Metro League Scholar-Athlete of the Month for March

KHS Senior Kassidy Krist has been named the Flint Metro League’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month for March.  Kassidy has participated in varsity competitive cheer all four years of high school.  As a freshmen, she earned all-league honorable mention honors.  As a junior, Kassidy earned 1st team all-Flint Metro League and 1st team all-district honors.

District Champs! Kearsley wins school’s first MHSAA District Cheer Championship; advances to regionals

The 2016-17 Kearsley Varsity Competitive Cheer team continued to make history by winning the school’s first-ever district cheer championship at Friday’s night’s district held at Kearsley High School.  They trailed rival Bay City Central coming into the final round, by won the championship with a strong round three performance.  The team now advances to Saturday’s

Competitive cheer finishes 3rd place in Flint Metro League

Kearsley competitive cheer concluded the Flint Metro League season on Wednesday night with a third place finish at the final jamboree held at Clio High School.  Kearsley’s 738.76 total points placed them just behind second place Clio (742.54) and league champion Brandon (759.48).  The cheerleaders now shift their attention to the post-season where they begin

Fall 2015 Sideline Cheer tryout dates set

The dates have been set for the Fall 2015 Sideline Cheer tryouts for both KHS and Armstrong Middle School.  Both the clinic and tryouts will take place in the Kearsley High School Sports Deck.  All athletes must have a valid physical on file in order to tryout. Competitive Cheer heads to MHSAA Regionals

With their fourth place finish at last Friday’s MHSAA district held at Brandon HS, the Kearsley competitive cheer team punched their ticket to the regionals this weekend.  This is the fourth straight season the competitive cheerleaders have advanced to the regional round of competition.  The regional will take place at noon on Saturday, February 28th
