The Kearsley Varsity Girls traveled to Grand Blanc Lanes on Thursday, December 21st to bowl a make up match against Linden, the match was originally scheduled for December 13th but was canceled because of snow. In the Baker games the Kearsley girls bowled 170 & 166 to Linden’s 128 & 107 and the Lady Hornets took a 10-0 lead into the individual games. In the first individual game the Lady Hornets bowled a 1070 actual team score, the highest team game in the state so far this season. The last game the Lady Hornets had a 981 actual to shoot a 2051 total for the 2 games, also the highest 2 game total in the state so far this year. The Lady Hornets won every point on the night as the final total pinfall was Kearsley 2387 to Linden 1514 and the final score was 30-0. Scores for Kearsley were: Alexis Roof 218 & 246, Karlee Griffin 256 & 173, Barbara Hawes 215 & 176, Samantha Timm 205, Allie Robbins 201, Mary Wheeler 185 and Emma Boychuk 176. The Kearsley girls are now 5-0 in the Metro Conference and the only undefeated team left in the league. They will get a little break from conference action for the holidays but the next competition will be the Davison Mixed Doubles Tournament at Richfield Bowl on Saturday, December 30th.
