Hornets News · Travis Hill named United head varsity hockey coach

Travis Hill has been named the new varsity hockey head coach for United Hockey (Kearsley, Holly, Brandon, Lake Fenton).  A Davison native, Travis played collegiate hockey for Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois where he served as a team captain.  He earned a bachelors degree from Lake Forest in May 2017 in psychology.  Prior to Lake Forest, Coach Hill played Junior A hockey in the NAHL for the Amarillo Bulls, Michigan Warriors and Toronto Junior Canadians. He also played professionally with the Knoxville Ice Bears of the Southern Pro Hockey League in 2017.  In addition, Coach Hill has served as an instructor for the STRIDA hockey organization here in the Flint area.  Coach Hill will be introduced to our current players, parents and community at a “Meet the Coach” night on Wednesday, July 11th at 6pm at Lake Fenton High School.
