Game Recap

Tommy Plunkey ran for 184 yards and had four touchdowns as Kearsley defeated Swartz Creek 67-52 in an offensive shootout. Kearsley put up 450 total yards and averaged over 10 yards play. Other offensive leaders for the Hornets included Christian Pinkney who ran for 109 yards and 2 TDs and Brandon Byczynski who rushed for 106 yards. The Kearsley defense was led by Byczynski with 9 total tackles and Demonte Wheat who had 7.5 tackles and an interception return for a TD. Kearsley improved to 2-3 (1-2 Flint Metro) on the season with the win. They return to action next Friday taking on Linden at Linden High School.
